Hi all,
After leveling up my starting legendary lord I found that any lord could recruit these units once they were unlocked. Even a level 1 lord freshly recruited from a settlement could recruit the entire roster of RoR that I had unlocked. A number of times this somewhat trivialized my defensive problems. An enemy army would rock up to an outlying settlement and I would bring out the level 1 lord with all the RoR to bolster the garrison and crush the invading enemy.
Consequently, I found that the cooldown for disbanding RoR was so low that I was tempted to disband them, sometimes after only a single battle; in particular the "emergency garrison" armies would be disbanded immediately after the battle. I actually felt there was a disincentive to keeping them in my armies.
